Rules and Regulations

The MBA Programs Office has in place standard operating procedures to ensure that examination processes are conducted with utmost care and attention. Multiple levels of checks are built into the handling of examination answer scripts, marking and processing of marks and grades.

Students are expected to be familiar with examination rules and regulations before they take the examinations. These regulations can be found on the Registrar's Office website http://www.nus.edu.sg/registrar/event/exam.html. Students who flout examination rules will face disciplinary action.

In addition, please note the following:

  • No re-schedule of the final examination is allowed if students leave the country without a valid reason and the Office permission.
  • Students are responsible in ensuring that there are no examination clashes with modules taken in other faculties or planned business trips.
  • Students who are medically unfit to attend the final examination must fill up the Special Consideration Form and the attending doctor needs to input his comments.

Students are required to submit this form to the Office within deadline as stipulated on the form. Do note that the date is set by Registrar's Office and is subject to change per semester.

  • The Office does not encourage students to leave the country during examination week as stated in the timetable.

Students must bring their student matriculation cards to the examination venues for identification purpose. You are advised to bring along a jacket as the examination venues may be cold.

Final Examinations

Unless otherwise exempted by the School, a candidate must pass such examinations as may be prescribed by the MBA Programs Office.

Students who are absent from examinations without approval would be given an "F" grade.

Requirements for Continued Candidature
