NUS MBA Teams were the Champion and First runner-up at IIMpact Business Plan Challenge

 Our MBA teams were champion and 1st runner-up at this year's IIMPact Business Plan Challenge. Organised by IIMPact, the Singapore chapter of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Alumni Associations, it attracted 120 teams from 14 business schools across Asia-Pacific, with the Finals being held at Swissotel Hotel on 19 April.

The champions - Gagan Deep, Neha Gupta, Arindam Bhattacharjee and Fred Fu Xin- won the judges over with their comprehensive business plan on transforming waste cooking oil into bio diesel. First runners-up Shilpa Marodia, Gautam Bansal and Janesh Janardhanan came up with a plan to distribute articificial limbs worldwide to under-privileged individuals at no cost. NUS MBA Team emerged First Runner-Up at Cerebration 2008 


NUStalwarts at the Finals of Cerebration 2008 

Our MBA team (NUStalwarts) clinched 1st runner-up position at the Finals of Cerebration held on 28 March. Cerebration is the world's largest MBA case competition with over 450 entries from 200 business schools participating this year.

 NUS MBA student shortlisted for Student Leadership Award

Our NUS MBA student, Srikanth Sridharan, was one of the top three candidates for the Student Leadership Award at the Graduate Business Conference (GBC) 2008. This event was held at Haas School of Business, University of California (Berkeley) from 3-5 April, and had about 100 student leaders from the world's leading business schools attending. NUS MBA Team emerged First Runner-Up at CA International Case Competition

The NUS MBA team (pictured), consisting of Richard Rubnan Que (leader), Neha Gupta, and Sujit Mathew, clinched second spot in the CA International Case Competition held in Las Vegas, USA. The team distinguished themselves from a field of top universities, such as Stanford University, University of Michigan, University of British Columbia, and University of Helsinki.
