To recognise the academic excellence of undergraduates who are pursuing Finance as a Specialisation at NUS Business School, the Saw Centre for Financial Studies will award the Saw Centre BBA Finance Scholarship to outstanding students starting from Academic Year 2007/2008. Each scholarship, valued at S$8,000, is tenable for two regular semesters. There is no bond attached.
Full Time BBA/BBA Honours student at NUS Business School who are Singapore Citizen, and meet the following requirements:
(a) Attained at least 80 modular credits in the BBA programme or at least 80 modular credits or
120 modular credits in the BBA Honours programme
(b) Completed 17 business programme requirement modules
(c) Completed three essential modules - FIN3101, FIN3102 and FIN3103*
(d) Have intention to specialise in Finance

* FNA3101 - Corporate Finance, FNA3102 - Investment Analysis, FNA3103 - Financial Markets. The applicant must have completed these three essential modules either at the time of application or by the end of the first semester of receiving the scholarship.
The scholarship recipients must pursue between 32 to 40 modular credits in the two semesters of award.

The closing date for application is 31 May for award starting from Semester 1 in August. The closing date for application is 31 December for award starting from Semester 2 in January.
Students who are reading modules towards the fulfillment of the application criteria at the time of application must immediately furnish their grades when the academic results are released, and no later than the stipulated closing date.
