Coming from Germany, Singapore is a great place to get a first-hand experience of Asian culture. With the diverse student community, NUS gives me an excellent opportunity to interact, and exchange experiences and knowledge with people from all over the world, especially during the various class discussions, group projects and case studies. Although studying in Canada would have been easier for me, I have chosen to study overseas because of the numerous advantages which include developing networks and relationships with friends, colleagues and professionals outside of my previous or regular circles, acquiring key skills as a result of overcoming the logistical challenges of getting organized and navigating a new environment. The international education in China and Singapore has not only deepened by understanding and appreciation of Asian cultures, but has also provided me a world of abundant business and career development opportunities.
