BBA (Accountancy) Program
Accreditations ("Recognitions")

The BBA(Acc.) programme is fully professionally accredited ("recognised") by Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) of Singapore which had, in the same way, accredited Accountancy programmes of other local universities.

Students who have completed the BBA(Acc.) programme may apply to be registered as public accountants in Singapore, without any additional coursework, after accumulating at least 3 years of relevant work experience. More details can be found at the ACRA page www.acra.gov.sg.

The BBA(Acc.) programme had also gained accreditation with Certified Practising Accountant Australia (CPA Australia); graduates are therefore eligible to apply for its Associate memberships.

In addition, graduates of the BBA(Acc) programme will receive exemptions for Papers F1 to F9 for the examinations leading to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.

Last but not least, graduates of the BBA(Acc) programme will receive exemptions for Papers C1 to C5, P1, P7 and P8 for the examinations leading to the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification. In addition, Paper P4 may also be exempted if MNO2302 Human Resource Management module is successfully completed.
