Programme Structure

This tightly-integrated Concurrent BBA(Hons)/BBA(Acc.Hons) and MPP programme is especially suitable for articulate and socially conscientious students who also complete the University Scholars Programme (USP) requirements. On the other hand, students may choice to embark on BBA(Hons)/ BBA(Acc.Hons) and MPP programme, without the USP. 

 

Please note that all these programme curricula are subjected to changes.

 

Programme curricula:

 

(A) Concurrent BBA(Hons) and MPP Programme with USP

Cohort 2006 and 2007:

The 180 MCs (normally completed in 4.5 years) consist of the following:

        (a) Master in Public Policy Modules: 60 MCs

        (b) USP Modules: 32 MCs

        (c) Business Modules: 88 MCs

Cohort 2008 onwards:

 

The 184 MCs (normally completed in 4.5 years) consist of the following:

        (a) Master in Public Policy Modules: 60 MCs

        (b) USP Modules: 32 MCs

        (c) Business Modules: 92 MCs

(B) Concurrent BBA(Hons) and MPP Programme

Cohort 2006 and 2007:

The 180 MCs (normally completed in 4.5 years) consist of the following:

        (a) Master in Public Policy Modules: 64 MCs

        (b) Business Modules: 92 MCs

        (c) University Level Requirements: 12 MCs

        (d) Unrestricted Elective Modules: 12 MCs

Cohort 2008:

 

The 184 MCs consist of the following:

        (a) Master in Public Policy Modules: 64 MCs

        (b) Business Modules: 96 MCs

        (c) University Level Requirements: 12 MCs

        (d) Unrestricted Elective Modules: 12 MCs

Cohort 2008:  
The 204 MCs consist of the following:

The 192 MCs consist of the following:
        (a) Master in Public Policy Modules: 64 MCs
        (b) Business Modules: 116 MCs
        (c) University Level Requirements: 12MCs

Students may complete the Concurrent BBA(Hons), USP and MPP programme requirement well within 5 year; (extra for BBA(Acc.Hons) while carrying NUS normal academic load of 5 modules (20 MCs) per semester, if the scheduling and sequencing of undergraduate and graduate modules are well planned for.

 

Candidature & Leave

The maximum period of candidature will be six years, excluding approved leave of absence.

A student may be granted an official leave of absence, for personal or academic reasons, for not more than two semesters in total.
