- Global Business Challenge 1999
Organized & Hosted by University of Washington, Seattle
Competition Background
- Organized for the first time, the competition attracted 16 other teams from Chile, Ecuador, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and USA besides NUS.
- The teams were given 48 hours as employees of Novo Nordisk, a pharmaceutical company to come up with a 5 year plan for the company's diabetes care strategy.
- Presenting before a panel of judges consisting of senior executives from various industries, our team received a standing ovation for their presentation. They emerged victorious with an invitation for the next year's 2000 Global business Challenge Competition.
