Student Development Programmes

NUS Business School welcomes private support for our various student development programmes. Some sample programmes you can participate in are listed below.

Student Exchange Programme (SEP)

The fund aims to provide financial assistance to our students to go for a Student Exchange Programme (SEP). This Programme, which takes place twice a year, is an integral part of the business curriculum for students to gain valuable international experience during their semester-long stay at the partnered universities.

Students who participate in this Programme will have the opportunity to develop an awareness and appreciation of other cultures, experience a different learning environment and also develop certain life skills. The exchange programmes are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Freshmen Orientation Camp

The fund will be used to organize the Freshmen Orientation Camp (FOC). This Camp is usually a 4-day-3-night event organised by the Bizad Club, a voluntary student club, in late June before the start of a new semester in mid August.

The main objective of the Camp is for the freshmen to integrate into the Business School family through various welcome parties and oritentation programmes. Freshmen will have a chance to get to know each other and to bond with seniors who can share their candid experiences about school life. After the Camp, many freshmen even become close friends and study partners throughout their course of study at the School.

Cerebration - Transcending Boundaries

The Cerebration is a global MBA challenge where the participants can shape the international expansion strategy of top-notch Asian companies. This is Singapore's only Masters level business competition organised by NUS Business School and attracts talents from all corners around the world.

Participants will be required to come up with a business plan that will compete at the highest level with some of the best business minds in the world today.

The fund we would like to raise for this Programme is about $200,000 every year.
