The Trade and Quote (TAQ) database is a collection of intraday trades and quotes for all securities listed on the New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange, Nasdaq National Market System and SmallCap issues.

• Available monthly on CD-ROM
• Each CD-ROM contains one month of data and is distributed approximately four weeks after a month's last trading day

How Does One Access the Data?

Staff and Students can borrow the CDs for the TAQ database(data available from January 1993 till December 2007) from the Financial Database Center which is located at Biz1 #03-20
