Our Ph.D. program is designed to train doctoral students in the pursuit of interdisciplinary and high-impact research. Every student in the program develops a strong working relationship with a Faculty Advisor, identified by matching research interests. Our research can be broadly defined into four areas of study: operations and supply chain management, management of information systems and e-Business, management science and operations research. While the department continues to consolidate its existing strength in traditional decision sciences disciplines, our program constantly encourages students to develop new niches that expand into cutting-edge research issues. Therefore, our faculty staff and their graduate students have distinguished themselves with the breadth and depth of their research and curriculum. Most importantly, our program is highly suitable for students who aspire to be an independent research scholar as well as a competent educator.
