Professor Suraj Srinivasan

Professor Suraj Srinivasan is an Associate Professor in the Accounting and Management area at Harvard Business School. Prior to this position, he was an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business from 2004 to 2008.
 
He earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in electrical and electronics engineering, a master’s degree in physics with honors from India’s Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He obtained his PhD in business administration from Harvard Business School in 2004, where he was also awarded the George S. Dively prize for outstanding thesis research.
 
Professor Srinivasan’s research examines corporate governance in the U.S. and internationally, and has published in the Journal of Accounting Research.
